Covid test for entry to Croatia from the UK

According to the UK government travel advice for Croatia, the following criteria applies to British citizens.

To be able to enter Croatia as a traveller from the UK, regardless of your vaccination status, you must present:

  • A negative Covid-19 antigen test that must be taken within 48 hours of entry to Croatia or a negative PCR test that is no older than 72 hours at the time of arrival
  • The above tests are not permitted to be done in Croatia upon arrival.
  • The NHS testing service should not be used for foreign travel. You should arrange for the test to be done privately.

Croatia entry requirement for Children

Children under the age of 12 years old that are accompanied by parents/guardians are exempt from providing a negative covid test if the parents/guardians have a negative covid test or have another exemption.

Online entry form for Croatia

Those travelling to Croatia are required to fill an online entry form before arriving in Croatia. It is also advised that you carry a copy of the accommodation booking confirmation if you are on holiday. If you own a holiday home/boat then you should carry proof of ownership.

UK return covid test from Croatia

If you are returning from Croatia to the UK, you are required to take a pre-departure PCR or an Antigen test 3 days prior to your departure. The new rules from 4 October 2021 means that fully vaccinated individuals will not be required to take the pre-departure test.

Those who are not fully vaccinated will still need to take the pre-departure test. This can be an antigen test or a PCR test. You can order our antigen test kit online and take it with you on your trip to use as a pre-departure test for your return to the UK.
